Imagine yourself picnicking with friends or family in a green pasture on a late summer afternoon, tossing the Frisbee, listening to some laid-back live music and eating home-cooked organic meals made fresh from the farm. Or how about an evening of Hawaiian burgers fresh off the grille, served up on cheerful cafe tables in a converted green house? Top that off with the fact that you don't have to do any of the cooking. It's all happening this summer at the Heavenly Vibes Organic Farm, located off Dark Mills Road.
In the meantime, stop by the Heavenly Vibes Farm Store Cafe for a delicious and healthy homemade lunch. And if your garden isn't as fruitful or prolific as you would like, you can also pick up fresh homegrown vegetables, homemade bread, local honey and an assortment of other goodies. Having moved to Middle Tennessee from Hawaii, owner Amber Doig keeps Kona coffee in stock, as well as shaved ice, smoothies and an assortment of fresh-baked cookies. The temptations are great, but the good news is that they are as healthy as they are delicious!
The Farm Store Cafe is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 pm. The address is 2130 Dark Mills Road, Columbia, TN. You can keep up with all the summer happenings at Heavenly Vibes by following them on Facebook and at their new website calendar by clicking HERE.
