Last week at the Mount Pleasant Brand Launch event Off the Duck was able to meet several new shop owners that have moved into town. Now you can grab your girlfriends and head to the new square for a day of shopping, lunch or even a manicure!
I started my visit to the square at Breckenridge House Antiques to see the new Breckenridge Baby shoppe! Kendra Nowlin recently took over as manager/curator for the store and decided to take a leap by adding a baby boutique stocked with, "sweet merchandise for the sassy, Southern baby and their sophisticated mommy." The upstairs of Breckenridge House is now a whimsical boutique with adorable bubble dresses, john-johns, bonnets and gifts for babies. Stop by Tues-Sat 10-5 to see what all the fuss is about! You can follow their Facebook Page HERE or visit their website www.breckendrigebaby.com
My next stop was The Tailored Tumbleweed. Now, this is no ordinary boutique so you need to make plans to stay a while. Owner Jenny Lynn Norman Dickson had a vision to open not only a women's boutique to sell fashionable fun clothes, but she also included a salon to meet all your beautification needs! Dickson has fond memories of working in Mount Pleasant in the 1990s, so it felt natural to return here to open her own store. Call the Tailored Tumbleweed at (931) 325-5533 to book your appointment or stop in for a quick mani/pedi and the perfect outfit! You can also follow their Facebook Page HERE or shop on their website at www.shoptumble.com
I then headed south to my next stop, the new Clover Home and Hash. Off the Duck has been following @homeandhash on Instagram for a while now, and I couldn't wait to see the store! Owner Mitcie Cisco has created an inviting space to meet all your home goods needs. Walking in I spotted chairs, rugs, and decor that would effortlessly add chic to any room in my home, and a few adorable fashion tops for my closet! Cisco is a fellow Memphis transplant (check out Memphis made Shotwell candy available in the store!) and Clover Home and Hash is a fabulous addition to Maury County! Visit their Facebook page HERE or their website www.homeandhash.com
My last stop was the newest location in the Buckhead Coffeehouse lineup. Owner Debbie Cooper brought her special blends and tasteful menu to Mount Pleasant's square, and the response has been amazing. The renovation of her new space is worth the trip alone! Exposed brick, cozy corners, and stunning art available for purchase adorn the walls. Pop in for their signature coffees and home baked goods, stay a while, and people watch as the square draws more and more visitors thanks to business owners like Cooper.
Right now the weather calls for sunny skies today through Saturday so grab your friends and make plans to visit Mount Pleasant and these fabulous new shoppes! And be sure to tell them Off the Duck sent you!
