Rippavilla Plantation, the site of so many weddings, became THE place to plan a wedding on Sunday, March 19th. This year the expo only featured vendors invited by Rippavilla in response to feedback on last year's show. Brides, along with their friends and family, entered through the gift shop and into the white tent set up on the patio hosting the first round of vendors.
Amped Sound and Lighting kept the beat going outside as attendees went from booth to booth. On the patio brides and their wedding party could do everything from sample cake flavors from Bake Us Happy to kickoff their registry at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Also, on the patio were wedding planning vendors Clemmie Grace Designs offering brides the opportunity to design their dream day. Along that same thread, DJ Party Rentals was there to talk decor details. Brides could play with wedding day jewelry, sample unique party favors like Padrino's Pops and more before heading inside the historic home for another round of energetic vendors.
Inside Rippavilla Plantation each room offered more and more choices for the Bride-to-Be (and a few grooms we encountered!). Tasting tables from caterers, to restaurants, to sweet cupcakes were sprinkled about offering nibbles to guests that day.
Local wedding dress boutique, Lace & Company, welcomed brides in the front parlor to dish about one of the biggest elements of the day, the dress. Also, available for the bride and her wedding party was every girl's dream, a professional hair stylist for the day.
Every bride wants to remember the day they spent so much time planning. Local photographers assured brides their day would be beautifully captured with a variety of photo packages to choose from.
And with spring in the air, who could forget the flowers? Mum's the Word greeted guests in the sunroom to talk all things floral design. From table centerpieces to custom archways, Mum's the Word brought a bride's vision to life.
Rippavilla Plantation hosted a beautiful show to highlight one of the most exciting events one could plan. The weather was gorgeous, the vendors were gracious, and the brides could not hide their excitement.
