Center of Hope hosts two major fundraisers a year and usually sticks to a Reverse Raffle theme. This year, they decided to shake things up with a rocking "Muletown Madness" party, just in time to kick off Mule Day next week.
Over 300 tickets were sold to an evening celebrating Center Of Hope's mission to help victims of abuse. In addition to tickets, attendees could purchase "Muletown Madness" tees to support Center of Hope. It was a sea of tees at the party, and I couldn't help snagging one for myself!
The Memorial Building was decked out in white and green, and the party was just getting started when I arrived. A photo booth with props was set up so party goers could capture their own silly pics of the night. Dinners was provided by Puckett's Grocery and Restaurant and people were lined up to enjoy their favorite southern dishes.
Local band, 12 South, was the entertainment for the evening and the party planned to go until 11pm. By all accounts the event was a success thanks to the dedicated staff and board of Center of Hope, along with volunteers and generous sponsors.
