Did you know that every month the Maury Alliance holds a morning coffee social at a locally owned business? That's just one of the perks of membership to the Maury Alliance, but don't worry, they would love for you to come too! Visit their website HERE to find out about Maury Alliance and all the wonderful programs they offer to connect like-minded business owners who want to see Maury County grow!
Last week, Columbia Machine Works hosted the monthly event. Third generation owner, Johnny Langsdon, welcomed Maury Alliance members to their offices bright and early. After some coffee and networking, safety goggles were handed out and attendees were invited on a tour of the facilities.

Langsdon was visibly proud of what his family, and the hundreds of workers employed over the years, have built. One of the first statements you'll see on their new website is "We're still a family owned American business. Our solid values have built a reputation and forged relationships that endure. Bottom line is we have the people, experience and capability to deliver. Its what sets us apart"
The tour wove through the vast industrial warehouse dotted with American flags as a reminder of their love of country and pride in being American owned. During the tour, Maury Alliance members learned about the various fabrication machines, welding, assembly part printing and more. So if there are any inventors out there, Columbia Machine Works can fabricate any part you dream up.

It was a fascinating morning at one of Maury County's oldest businesses. In fact, Off the Duck attended the Columbia Machine Works dedication ceremony last year to celebrate the company's 90 years in business. To read more about that event click HERE. Thank you Maury Alliance, Johnny Langsdon and everyone at Columbia Machine Works for hosting such a great event!!
