It's that time of year for shops around town to hold their annual Holiday Open House! A few got the party started early last Saturday, and the streets were buzzing with ladies getting a head start on presents.
Our first stop was The Faded Farmhouse for a look at home decor. The store was a sea of snowy white and vintage inspired decor to choose from. We found adorable tea towels, pillows, and unique items to dress up any table or door. The staff embraced the day in funky holiday outfits bring the merriment up a notch as well.
Next on our list was a traditional favorite, Ye Peddler. The front porch inspired ideas of our own homey entrances to recreate with rugs and door signs galore. Upon entering we were swept away by tree after perfectly decorated tree of ornament goodness. Looking to recreate the scent of Christmas trees? Pick up a Thymes Frasier fir candle for your home! Shoppes enjoyed a taste of several appetizers as they browsed the store. Hosts looking for a little help in the kitchen this season can choose from a wide array of dips, mixes and nibbles available.
Next it was on to Itty Bitty Children's Boutique to plan ahead for the little people in our lives. It was pajama central in the store with several seasonal sets to choose from. Need something special for a family photo shoot? Delicate dresses and crisp john-johns in plaid, navy, cream and holiday red and green lined the racks begging to be taken home. Itty Bitty is also hosting a "Classic Christmas" photo shoot with Mac Brown Photography Saturday, November 12th. Reservations are required so call (931) 380-5434 to see if there are any spots still open.
At The Book Nook Cafe we were greeted by a twinkling Christmas tree made of books! In addition to books, the shop is now offering booth space for rent. We made our way back to the new booth space to check out vintage items for sale and handmade children's clothes and bags. Looking for a place to hold your holiday get together? The Book Nook Cafe offers room rentals too! Contact them at (931) 398-6148 to reserve your space today!
