Rippavilla Plantation's Vines & Vintage Wine Festival is adding a vintage car Show this year. Just like last year but even better with the addition of a vintage car show!!!,Vines & Vintage will welcome wineries from across Tennessee to Spring Hill for a day of wine, vintage cars, vintage and antique shopping, food trucks and live music Saturday, October 29th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Working with State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture and the Tennessee Wine Growers Association, Vines & Vintage is one of only seven state-sanctioned wine festivals in Tennessee; Vines & Vintage is the final wine festival for 2016.
Because the festival is state-sanctioned, participating wineries will sell their wines exactly as they do at their own vineyards.Festival goers will be able to sample wine and buy it by the bottle or the case while touring twelve Tennessee winery booths and all conveniently located on the beautiful historic site. You will also be able to enjoy a bottle of wine with your lunch or while listening to the live music.
In addition to the award-winning Tennessee wines and car show, Rippavilla invited approximately 25 of the best antique vendors and artisans to set up booth. These talented vendors will be on site selling one-of-a-kind items just in time to start your Christmas shopping.
Vines & Vintage committee members hope festival attendees will purchase a bottle of wine, enjoy lunch from one of the food vendors while listening to live performances from two musical acts. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Columbia folk and blues artist Damien Boggs will perform followed by Daphne and the Mystery Machines, an Americana/Alternative Folk group, performs 2:00P.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tickets are available on Rippavilla’s website for $20 per person; a savings of $5 per person. The discount offer will end Friday, Oct 21st. Admission at the gate will be $25 for anyone enjoying the wine. Designated drivers can enter for just $10. Designated driver tickets are available the day of the event only.
