Another creative effort by Maury County librarian, Stephanie Kroll, brought over 20 runners and walkers out to Maury County Park on Saturday evening. The event was FREE to anyone interested and originally had over 80 registrants, "The rain may have held people off, but we have a great group out tonight and the weather is perfect," said Kroll. As the sun began to set, the race kicked off with a pop of streamers and they were off. The course twisted and turned through the park before finishing at the old log cabin. Runners and walkers crossed a finish line of bubbles as volunteers and other races clapped and cheered.
