Bells will be ringing on Saturday as Westbury House launches the first ever "A Very Maury Christmas" holiday marketplace. Owners, Julie Webster and Sarah Hoelscher came up with the idea earlier this year to hold an artisans market during the holidays and have spent the last several months curating an exceptional list of vendors. “I am so excited that people will be pouring into downtown Columbia Saturday morning to not only shop at and support the local makers and businesses at A Very Maury Christmas -- but to also visit the eateries and shops on our beautiful Square. This has truly turned into a Community event and that was my goal!” shares Hoelscher.
Doors open at 9am and the shopping continues until 4pm giving everyone plenty of time to get ahead on their holiday lists. Westbury House asks that shoppers bring either an unwrapped toy or a $5 donation to benefit The Family Center. In addition to local boutiques that will have booths set up, A Very Maury Christmas will introduce locals to new bakers, painters, jewelry makers, leather goods craftsmen, florists, holiday décor designers and more! Once inside shoppers can browse through the following local business and artisan booths.
