Maury County residents and visitors now have an easier way to tour and enjoy our area. The Maury County Convention and Visitors Bureau recently launched an “Experience Maury, Tennessee” App to navigate the restaurants, shopping, hotels, and tourist activities. Maury CVB Assistant Director Becky Leifheit worked with Blueridge Digital to create the and says “Our goal with the free app is to provide a valuable tool for visitors and local residents alike to locate restaurants, shopping, sites and attractions. It also will be beneficial for those looking for events and happenings in Maury County.”
The app is free to download and can be found by clicking the links below or it can be found in your iPhone App Store (app) by searching Experience Maury, Tennessee to find the below image
The app is divided into three categories: Eat- Stay- Play
Starting with “Eat” users are taken to three options for restaurants- Local Restaurants, Meat & Three, and National Chains
By clicking on the restaurant of choice, users are taken to a screen that provides info such as Directions, Website, Phone number, Food descriptions, and Facebook link (if applicable) For example here is Mt. Pleasant Grille’s app page:
For visitors looking for a place to stay (or locals booking the newly popular staycation), the “Stay” category is divided into 4 options- Bed & Breakfast Inn, Local Hotels, National Hotels, and RV Park and Campground.
By clicking on the lodging of choice, users are taken to a screen that provides info such as Directions, Website, Phone, Lodging Description, and Facebook link (if applicable). For example here is Walnut Hill’s Bed and Breakfast app page:
The final category, “Play” offers users an almost endless option of things to do and see in Maury County. Users can find information on antiques stores, museum’s boutiques, hiking and recreational activities and more:
